Did the hohokam live along the coast because shells are among the artifacts achaeologists have found?

The Hohokam exist near the coast is a false statement it is because of the shells which were discovered were from commerce but this did not mean that they lived by an ocean. They lived in the Mid-West which is a region in the United States that remains in the north middle part of the country.
