Similar to bipolarity, a multipolar world refers to one where three or more nations or states hold economic, cultural and political power and influence. The nations share power and resources equally, and they might be at peace with each other or in competition; the latter of which can cause conflict and unrest.

Diversity in a group or nation or group refers to when a group consists of individuals that vary in race, gender, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, skills, etc. A diverse society has several advantages since different people have a different range of skills to offer. However, diversity also has a downside since it can divide people, leading to conflict, prejudices and discrimination.
