Where are metals and nonmetals found on the periodic table

Metals are found in group 1, 2, and abit of 3.
Non-metals are found in group 0/8, abit in 4, 5, 6 and 7 too. Here is a picture. Most of the periodic table are metals.

The whale was a missile blasting from beneath the surface.  2.) a majestic whale leapt skyward before diving back into the sea.    these are both figurative language. this is so because the whale in sentence "1" was not actually a missile, nor was it actually blasting. now, for sentence "2", a whale can not actually "leap".
