Water is stored in a reservoir at an average vertical height of 350 m above the turbines of a hydroelectric power station.
During a 7.0 hour period, 1 .8 x 106 m3 of water flows down from the reservoir to the turbines'
(a) The density of water is 1000kg/m3'
For this 7.0 hour Period, calculate

ii) the gravitational potential energy transformed as the water flows to the turbines'

Can anyone answer this and tell me how to find the gravity in the equation (mgh) ?

The key to stability is feedback between the reservoir and the fluxes into and/or out of the reservoir. assume that the rate of outflow from a reservoir depends on the size of the reservoir according to the following relationship: outflow rate= k x (size of reservoir), where k is a constant. a reservoir of water has a volume of 5000 liters, and the rate of outflow at steady state is 25 liters per minute. what is k? (give both the numerical value and its units.) what is the residence time? what is the relationship between k and the residence time?

On a frictionless air track, a blue glider with mass 0.200 kg is moving to the right with a speed of 8.00 m/s. it strikes a red glider that has mass 0.600 kg and that is initially at rest. after the collision, the blue glider is moving to the left with a speed of 3.00 m/s.(a) what are the magnitude and direction of the velocity of the red glider after the collision? (b) is this collision elastic?
