Set the opaque bowl on a table. Place a penny in the center of the bowl. Back away slowly from the table, and stop immediately when you can’t see the penny. Mark the spot on the floor where you are standing with a piece of tape. Look at the drawing below. It shows how light reflects off the bowl and the penny. (Note that the opaque container is transparent in the drawing so that we can see the path of light.) In which position, A or B, do you see the penny?
