Part III: Validity of the Hypothesis 4.Outline the data (numbers) that supports or does not support the hypothesis.

5. Outline the validity of your hypothesis.
(Describe how the hypothesis was or was not supported by using scientific sources.)
Does science say this hypothesis should work?

Does science say this hypothesis should not work? How do you know?

MY HYPOTHESIS:
If the angle of the inclined plane increases then the time will decrease. This may happen because the height of the inclined plane increases when the angle increases and there is more gravitational potential energy.
MY PROCESSED DATA:
Angle (°)
Average Time (s)
5(angle) = 8.67(sec)
10 = 6.26
15 = 5.11

The place you get your hair cut has two nearly parallel mirrors 6.00 m apart. as you sit in the chair, your head is 2.00 m from the nearer mirror. looking toward this mirror, you first see your face and then, farther away, the back of your head. (the mirrors need to be slightly nonparallel for you to be able to see the back of your head, but you can treat them as parallel in this problem.) how far away does the back of your head appear to be?

Unpolarized light falls on two polarizer sheets whose transmission axes are at right angles. a third polarizer is placed between the first two so that its axis makes a 52-degree angle with the axis of the first polarizer. a) what fraction of the incident light intensity is transmitted through the first polaroid? b) what fraction of the incident light intensity is transmitted through the second polaroid? c) what is the angle of polarization of the light that enters the third polaroid? d) what fraction of the incident light intensity is transmitted through the third polaroid. e) what happens if the middle polaroid is removed?
