The energy consumes in a day is given as
8.3kW * 5hours
= 41.5kWh

2. 400W television in 8 hours uses
400W * 8hours energy which is equivalent to 3200Wh
Converting to kWh gives 3200/1000 = 3.2kWh
The cost of running the television in pesos is calculated as
6.88 pesos = 1kWh
x pesos = 3.2kWh

Therefore x pesos = 6.88 * 3.2
= 22.016 pesos.
It costs 22.02 pesos to run the TV for 8hours
