The Wien Law is a result of the theory of blackbody radiation, describing the continuous distribution of wavelengths emitted by hot objects. The most energy per time is emitted at a wavelength given by this law. At longer or shorter wavelengths the object emits less light. Where is the maximum in the energy emitted by Earth's surface, which has a temperature on average of about 14 Celsius or 287 Kelvin
