What makes humans humans i mean like what do they do that makes us humans?

I'm not sure if I am  answering this right but all humans are made up of atoms and molecules. We are humans because we show all eight characteristics of life. I forget most of them, but that is why we are humans.

1.) Reproduce
2.) Respond to stimulize
3.) Exchange gases
