A glass prism has as principle cross section a triangle ABC such that ABC= 60°.
A ray SI of red light hits, in air under an angle of incidence of
60°, the face AB of the prism.
The index of refraction of the prism for the incident red light
is n=1.64
1- Study the path of the say SI till it leaves the prism.
2-Determine the value of the angle of incidence of the ray Si so that it would leave the prism grazing it's face AC.
