The diagram below shows a simplified view of
the hydraulic brake system of a car. Only one
wheel and one brake cylinder is shown for
clarity. The brake pedal is pivoted at the top
and acts as a lever. When a force is applied to
the pedal as shown, the piston in the master
cylinder is pressed inwards.
The pressure
exerted on the oil in the system forces the
piston in the brake cylinder to move inwards.
This action causes the brake pad to press
against the wheel disc which in turn slows down
the car.
i. A force F of 20 N is applied to the brake pedal. Use moments to calculate the force
that this produces on the piston in the master cylinder.
(I am unsure if i should use both distances or only one, if anyone had any ideas thanks)

The chart shows the costs and shipping times for materials that a company needs to build a new product. which describes the best trade-off if the company needs to start building their product within the next two years? they should order the domestic materials because it is always best to choose the fastest shipping time. they should order the imported materials because it is always best to choose the lowest cost for materials. since the shipping time is longer, they should order the domestic materials because the additional cost is worth it to get the materials in time. even though the shipping time is longer, they should order the imported materials because they are less expensive and should arrive in plenty of time to build the product.
