Did you think the O-Net Profiler was helpful in using your interests and education plans in
narrow down fields that might be interesting for your career? It would be great if everyone
had access to the O*Net Profiler, right? But most people end up struggling on their own to
figure out where they fit. In this activity, you will help three students sort through information
about the clusters in this unit to help them chart their career pathway Each student has a
basic idea of which cluster they would like to be in but that's it. Your task will be to give them
career options in these clusters, explain how their skills match that pathway chart their
education path, and describe their ultimate work environment Our students may not go
down the pathway you recommend but at least you will give them a good rough outline to
work with

To place a communications satellite into a geosynchronous orbit at an altitude of 22,240 mi above the surface of the earth, the satellite first is released from a space shuttle , which is in a circular orbit at an altitude of 185 mi, and then is propelled by an upper-stage booster to its final altitude. as the satellite passes through a, the booster's motor is fired to insert the satellite into an elliptic transfer orbit. the booster is again fired at b to insert the satellite into a geosynchronous orbit. knowing that the second firing increases the speed of the satellite by 4810ft/s, determine (a.) the speed of the satellite as it approaches b on the elliptic transfer orbit, (b.) the increase in speed resulting from the first firing at a.

Why does the equilibrium position of the spring change when a mass is added to the spring? will the mass oscillate around the new equilibrium position of the spring or the previous position without a mass attached to the spring? if the equilibrium position of the spring changes by 20 cm (assuming no initial mass) when a mass is added to the spring with constant 4.9 kg/s^2, what is the mass of the object attached to the spring?
