The mass of a box is 300 kg and it's base area is 15m². Calculate the pressure exerted by the box on the ground.

Solution :

We know that,

★ Pressure = Force/Area

For calculation of Pressure we will have to find the force acquired first

From Newton's 2nd law of motion :

★ Force = Mass × Acceleration

→ F = 300 × 9.8

→ F = 2940 Newtons

Put the value of Force in the formula of Pressure :

→ Pressure =  

→ Pressure = 196 Pascals

 The pressure exerted by the box on the ground is 196 Pascals.

i think it because equal matrices have equal dimensions, only square matrices can be symmetric. for all indices and . every square diagonal matrix is symmetric, since all off-diagonal elements are zero. in linear algebra, a real symmetric matrix represents a self-adjoint operator over a real inner product space.
