If any one can help me with, you're amazing. I have to build a electromagnetic, but I don't have the materials to do so. My assignment is due soon and if anyone can give a guess based off of prior knowledge on how many paper clicks will be picked up per 5 wraps then it would be amazing. I have to make a data table which is why I'm asking. This is for physical science. Here's the procedure
: two D-cell batteries, 2 feet of thin insulated electrical wire (22 gauge insulated, stranded copper wire) (can buy at a home improvement store), iron nail, several metal paper clips, electrical tape (optional).

• With the materials above, build an electromagnet.
• Try different numbers of batteries, in series, to change the current flowing in the wire. Be sure to record in your data table below how many paper clips the electromagnet can pick up with each battery configuration.
• Change the magnetic field of the nail/screw by changing the number of loops of wire wrapped around the pencil. Be sure to record your observations in the data table below of the number of paper clips the electromagnet can pick up with the various number of loops. (Be sure to use 5+ more loops each time to be able to see a difference.

As shown in fig. p3.64, a closed, rigid tank fitted with a fine-wire electric resistor is filled with refrigerant 22, initially at 2108c, a quality of 80%, and a volume of 0.01 m3. a 12-volt battery provides a 5-amp current to the resistor for 5 minutes. if the final temperature of the refrigerant is 408c, determine the heat transfer, in kj, from the refrigerant.
