A square loop with sides of length L has total resistance R. It is being pulled with speed out of a region, indicated in gray, where there is a uniform magnetic field B pointing out the page. At time t, the leftmost corner of the loop is a distance x inside the field. (a) Determine the magnetic flux through the loop, as a function of t.
(b) What is the magnitude and direction of the current that is induced in the loop?
(c) What force do you need to apply to the loop so that it moves with constant speed v?
(d) How much work is required to move the loop from x- L/2 to x 0?
