A heat pump uses a 100,000-gallon swimming pool as a heat sink in the summer. When the heat pump is running at full capacity it is dumping 6 tons (i. e., refrigeration tons) of energy (i. e., heat) into the pool. Assuming no heat loss by conduction or evaporation from the pool, what would be the temperature rise of the pool per day if the heat pump were to run continuously at full capacity 16 hours per day
