Hayley is driving in her car going 24.0 m/s. A tree falls onto the road 112 meters ahead of her. Hayley doesn’t see it until 3.00 seconds later because she was texting and driving. When she finally does see it, she slams on the breaks decelerating at 7.48 m/s2. Determine if she will come to a complete stop before hitting the tree. Calculate how long does it take for the car to stop once she hits the brakes. How would I solve this?
