The amount of energy consumed by the motor of the elevator that is now stored in the suitcase on the 10th floor. b. I the travel from the lobby to the 10th floor took 15 seconds, the weight of the elevator is 220 lbf, and the elevator passenger compartment travels at constant velocity as it is being pulled by a cable, determine the work, in J, and the power needed, in kW.
