Could someone me with this kinematics question? :

a swimmer heads directly across a river, swimming at 1.6 m/s relative to the water. she
arrives at a point 40 m downstream from the point directly across the river, which is 80 m
wide.

a) what is the speed of the river current?

b) what is the swimmer's speed relative to the shore?

c) in what direction should the swimmer head to arrive at the point directly opposite her
starting point?

d) how long would it take to cross the river swimming in the direction found in (c)?

(2) (a) you have a simple circuit that consists of only a battery (δvbat=1.5v) and two resistors with resistance r1=10ω and r2=5ω, connected in series with each other. what is the current running through the battery? (b) you re-arrange your circuit so now r2 is attached in parallel to r1 rather than in series. what is the current running through the battery? (c) you add an additional resistor r3=7ω on the same branch as r2. what is the current running through the battery? (d) what is the power dissipated in r3?

Water is siphoned from a large tank and discharges into the atmosphere through a 50-mm diameter tube. the end of the tube is b = 2.6 m below the tank bottom which is a = 6.7 m deep, and viscous effects are negligible. determine the maximum height h over which the water can be siphoned without cavitation occurring. atmospheric pressure is 101.4 kpa, and the water vapor pressure is 1.79 kpa (absolute). report your answer in meters to two decimal places.
