On entering the prism, the rays of sunlight split into 7 colors,violet, indigo,blue,green,yellow,orange and red(VIBGYOR). After the color emerged out of the prism,a second glass prism was kept on its path in inverted position. After the colors entered the inverted prism, they were again converted into white light.
