In a loop-the-loop ride a car goes around a vertical, circular loop at a constant speed. The car has a mass m = 245 kg and moves with speed v = 15.15 m/s. The loop-the-loop has a radius of R = 8.7 m. 1) What is the magnitude of the normal force on the car when it is at the bottom of the circle? (But as the car is accelerating upward.)2) What is the magnitude of the normal force on the car when it is at the side of the circle (moving vertically upward)?
3) What is the magnitude of the normal force on the car when it is at the top of the circle?
4) Compare the magnitude of the cars acceleration at each of the above locations:
abottom = aside = atop
abottom < aside < atop
abottom > aside > atop
5) What is the minimum speed of the car so that it stays in contact with the track at the top of the loop?

If the temperature were raised very high, classically what would we expect the heat capacity per object to be for this one-dimensional system? give a numerical value. chigh t = __ j/k/object (one reason for the discrepancy is that the high-temperature limit assumes that the number of oscillators is large (n > > 1), which is not the case in this tiny system.)

Aprojectile is launched from ground level with an initial velocity of v 0 feet per second. neglecting air resistance, its height in feet t seconds after launch is given by s equals negative 16 t squared plus v 0 t. find the time(s) that the projectile will (a) reach a height of 192 ft and (b) return to the ground when v 0equals112 feet per second. (a) find the time(s) that the projectile will reach a height of 192 ft when v 0equals112 feet per second. select the correct choice below and, if necessary, fill in the answer box to complete your choice.
