In this experiment, you will design your own experimental procedure. in the most basic form you will need to create 5 unique reaction mixtures, along with 1 duplicate. these reaction mixtures should contain varying amounts of 2.00 × 10–3 m fe2(so4)3(aq), 4.00 × 10-3 m kscn(aq), and di h2o. you should vary the amount of fe2(so4)3 and kscn, and use the di h2o to keep the total volume of your reaction constant, at say 10 ml. after you’ve created your reaction mixtures, mix them thoroughly with a vortexer to ensure your reaction has reached equilibrium before measuring the absorbance of the fe(scn)x (3-x) complex with the spectrovis plus spectrometer.

Although longitudinal waves can travel through all media types what is the disadvantage of this type of wave transmission? a) he efficiency of he wave transmission is greatly diminished as the media becomes less dense b) the oscillation of one set of particles has a huge impact on neighboring particles c) particles become too close together as they bump into each other making it more likely to hit other particles down the line

The nuclear potential that binds protons and neutrons in the nucleus of an atom is often approximated by a square well. imagine a proton conned in an innite square well of length 105 nm, a typical nuclear diameter. calculate the wavelength and energy associated with the photon that is emitted when the proton undergoes a transition from the rst excited state (n 2) to the ground state (n 1). in what region of the electromagnetic spectrum does this wavelength belong?
