Achild is standing at the edge of a 50m tall cliff and fires a pellet straight up using a sling-shot. the pellet goes straight up and down but on the downward part of the trajectory just misses the cliff, falling to the ground below.
a) what is the projectile’s maximum height with respect to the ground below the cliff?
b) how long does it take for the projectile to complete its motion?
c) how fast is it moving when it strikes the ground?
