Auniform beam 4 meters long with a mass of 40 kg is mounted to a wall by a hinge as shown in the figure. a cable, which holds this beam in position, makes an angle of 30 degrees to the beam and is attached to the beam at a point 3 meters from the wall. this beam then holds up a sign from its end with a mass of 100kg. find the force of tension on the cable and the vertical and horizontal components of the force exerted by the hinge on the beam.
