Explanation:

An aquifer is a layer formed by cracked rocks and the spaces between them and particular types of materials are consolidated among them, like sand and certain fungus and slit etc, which results in underground water flowing into these underground spaces (cavities) continually in less or sometimes more quantity.

Water moves very slowly downwards into them and then eventually it moves out of them into springs and enters into the streams or sometimes this water can also be pulled out by wells. Moreover aquifers are also an important source through which waters of the land enters into the oceans.
