Water and air are both fluids. why is it easier to lift a rock in water rather than lifting a rock in air? the buoyant force is greater on the rock in air. the force of gravity on the rock is greater in water. the buoyant force is greater on the rock in water. the force of gravity on the rock is less in water. is it me or is this question not like the hits blunt meme
