All organic compounds in nature have one molecule that is common in all of them, namely carbon.

An organic compound is any member of a large  group of compounds which may be gaseous, liquid, or solid that have molecules containing carbon.

Organic compounds are the basis of earth's carbon cycle through  which biogeochemical  processes ensure that carbon moves from living to non living systems and back again.

i guess that visual aids present persuasive examples to what you are presenting, some factors would be theme (does it fit with the color, information, what you are presenting), size (can you see it, is it a big enough span of data/information), and overall look of the visual aid.
