Explanation:

Vaccines are the best available method to immunize and to prevent the spreading of infectious diseases; however, in the last years, misconceptions associated with the use of vaccines were widespread. For example, there are people in developed countries that erroneously believe vaccines may produce autism in children. In consequence, health education programs need to include immunization educational information in order to complement what we know about the importance of vaccination. The World Health Organization (WHO) have recently indicated that vaccination misconceptions are very dangerous, and thereby information about this issue may be critical to meet global health security goals and to promote public health.
