Climbing Mount Everest is an extraordinarily dangerous thing to do. There is little oxygen, extreme cold, storms and avalanches. There have also been stories about people doing weird things when exposed to the elements at there. Some of this is backed up with science. For instance, when someone is severely hypothermic (too cold), their body malfunctions and misinterprets their environment as being too hot. The colder they get, the warmer their body thinks they are. That causes them to begin taking off clothing. They will continue to do so until they die of exposure. This has been described on Everest. At that point, how would we categorize a person’s reaction to extreme cold?

a.) positive feedback

b.) negative feedback

c.) non-feedback response
