You increase the size of a page by 50%. then you decrease it by 50%. what is the size of the page now?

We can't tell what size the page is now, because you never told us
what size it was before all the shenanigans started.  All you gave us
was a couple of ratios.

And you didn't even tell us WHAT was increased and decreased ...
was it the length of the sides, or was it the area of the page ?


If it was the length of the sides ...

Let's say the page was  8"  high and  4"  wide.

Increase lengths by  50% :     Now it's  12"  high and  6"  wide.

Decrease lengths by  50% :   Now it's  6"  high and  3"  wide.

     The sides are now  3/4  as long as they started out,
     and the area is  9/16  of what it started out.

The answer is that the rate of change is $50 per 1 monthhope this ; )
