How to find the x intercepts of f(x)=-2x^2+x+5

Given: f(x) = 2x + 5 and g(x) = x2 and h(x) = -2x h(g(f( = x2+ vx+ x + y

[10 points, algebra 2]according to my answer key the restrictions are -1 and 4. but why not positive 1?
