Substitute “x” for the number on top.
So, instead of -2.5x -> -2.5(-6).

-2.5(-6)/6 = 15/6 = 2.5
-2.5(-3)/6 = 7.5/6 = 1.25
-2.5(0)/6 = 0/6 = 0
-2.5(3)/6 = -7.5/6 = -1.25
-2.5(6)/6 = -15/6 = -2.5
