7.) it's A because if you flip over (0,3) over the y-axis it stays at the y-axis because it is on it XD hope that wasn't too confusing lol

8.) 2/3 x +5 = 1
isolate x
2/3 x + 5 = 1
subtract 5 from both sides
2/3 x = -4
multiply both sides by 3
2x = -12
divide both sides by 2
x = -6
A.) x = -6

9.) Use the given equation and plug in 11 for x
y = 100 - 8.9x
y = 100 - 8.9(11)
y = 100 - 97.9
y = 2.1
