The first one:
the rectangle has an area of 110*140=15400
the triangle's base is (180-110)=70, and the height is 140-50=90, so the area is half of 70*90=3150
the total is 15400+3150=18550 cm²

the second one:
first, you have to find DE, which is the short leg of right triangle ADE
DE²=10²-8²=36, DE=6
DC=DE+EC=6+8=14
area of the trapazoid: (top+bottom) × height, ÷ 2
(1/2)(8+14)*8=88 ft²
