How to know the difference between a bad friend and a good friend?

A good friend is a good listener, very loyal, and is very dependable.  They support you when you are in your bad times and your sad.  While bad friends aren't loyal, nice, trustworthy, or even good to hang out with. They can sometimes pressure you to do bad things that you don't want to do.
