Using the Pythagoras Theorem we can solve this equation. a, where a and b represent legs and c represents the hypotenuse.

Again YOU CANNOT SQUARE ROOT EVERYTHING:


9+16=25

BUT:

3+4 \neq 7!!

To continue:


64+ [tex] b^{2} [\tex] = 100
[tex] b^{2} [\tex] = 36
b = 6

The other leg's length is 6.
