Method 2)

 8/15 * -3/10 = (8*-3) / (15*10) '

= -24/150 = ? ;

 Divide each side of this "fraction" by: "6" ;

   (-24÷6) / (150÷6) = " - 4/25 "; or, write as:  " - 0.16" .
