Now we have to plotting the graphs  of both the curves.

Putting x = 0 in first equation.

We get,

y = 3

Now putting x =    in first equation.

We get,

y = -3

Therefore, these are the points ( 0, 3) and ( , -3) for plotting the graph.

Now for second curve:  y = 3 − 3 cos(5x), 0 ≤ x ≤ π/5

Putting x = 0 in first equation.

We get,

y = 0

Now putting x =    in first equation.

We get,

y = 6

Therefore, these are the points  ( 0, 0) and ( , 6) for plotting the graph.
