Choose a film that has won an Oscar for International Feature Film or a foreign film that has won the equivalent of "Best Picture" at the Cannes Film Festival (see links below). (Many of the films mentioned in this unit are award-winning, so you may choose any of them as well.) View the film online if you can find it (with subtitles or not) or view as many clips as you can find.
After viewing the film, explain why you think it won the award. What unique characteristics of cinematography, editing, acting, directing, etc. do you notice? Does it follow the rules of mainstream cinema or break them and how? Your response should be at least half a page in length and make specific references to the film you chose, the cinematography, editing, pacing, character, story, etc.

The sat and act tests use very different grading scales. the sat math scores follow a normal distribution with mean 518 and standard deviation of 118. the act math scores follow a normal distribution with mean 20.7 and standard deviation of 5. suppose regan scores a 754 on the math portion of the sat. how much would her sister veronica need to score on the math portion of the act to meet or beat regan's score?
