Step by step solution:

The equation for slope intercept form is y=mx+b m being the slope and b being the y-intercept. To find the y intercept just look at the point that goes over the y axis (you can also calculate it but in this case you don’t need to) for this equation the y intercept is -2. To find the slope you can get 2 points and find the difference in x over the difference in y, but what I like to do is a technique my algebra teacher likes to call rise over run.
Basically for the numerator count how much the y goes up between the 2 points working from left to right (if it’s negative then the slope is negative) in this case the rise is 3, then you see how much it changed on the x axis, in this case it was 4. If you put that unit rise over run format you will get the slope of 3/4.
