The young sorceress is making a Halloween recipe that requires 2 cups of her special brew. However she only has 2 jars in which to
measure her brew. One jar is eight cups and the other is 5 cups.
As you can see the jars are not evenly shaped and have no
markings on them. Since she is a young, in-training sorceress, she
cannot magically put markings on her jars nor can she magically
make the needed two cups appear, therefore she must use the only
two jars she has. (Oh yes, she cannot run to the store to buy a 2
cup jar-Witch Mart is closed for inventory!) How can she
measure out the 2 cups she needs using only the two jars she has?
