The area has been selected as the location to hold a citywide track meet. In preparation for this event, the manager of the CRC wants to install new fencing around the track. This layout will accommodate a field approximately 150 feet by 320 feet inside the track. 100 meters 1 1. Estimate the perimeter of the track in feet. 2. A rectangular fence will be placed around track. The fence needs to be positioned at least 10 feet away from the edge of track. Field Events The field in the middle of the track will be used for four events; the long jump, shot put, discus throws, and the high jump.
