When colors are mixed a new color, a shade, is created. Rossella decides to mix blue and white paint to create a new shade of blue. She mixes: 3 quarts of blue paint
5 quarts of white paint
This mixture produces a new shade of blue. Christina likes Rosella's new shade of blue. She wants to make the same shade of blue using the same ratios of blue and white paint that Rosella uses.
