Geometry is causing me physical and mental pain

When I look at this shape I see a long rectangle with a triangle on top and a small rectangle underneath.
The long rectangle is 4 x (15 + 3) = 72cm^2
The small rectangle is 4 x 3 = 12 cm^2
The triangle is 15 + 3 - 7 - 9 = 2cm wide
The area of the triangle is 1/2 x 4 x 2 = 4cm^2

So the total area is 72 + 12 + 4 = 88cm^2

You do NOT need pi as there are no circles involved in the question.
