Different strands of corn are grown in two plots. A random sample of Strand A and Strand B plants are selected and their heights are measured. The sample mean
height of Strand A plants is 38 inches while the sample mean height of Strand B
plants is 35 inches. The standard deviation of the difference between these sample
means is 1.2 inches.
Using this information which range would best represent the possible values for a
95% confidence interval on the difference in the two population means with the
correct conclusion about this difference?
