In an (imaginary) previous term, the standard curve had a slope of .81 and a Y intercept of 0. The slope of the curve for this (imaginary) term is 1.49 with a Y intercept of 0. This may be due to subtle differences in the reagents used or to differences in lab room temperature settings. A student ran our experiment in a previous term and measured the absorbance of her sample as 0.1 absorbance units. She also placed some of her enzyme in a freezer.
