Next, we need to find out how many drips of water there was. So, if 3 drops come out of the tap in 1 minute, we need to multiply 3 and 720 to give us the amount of drops that come out in 720 minutes. 720*3 is 2160.

Then, we need to figure out how much millilitres of water that it. So, we do 2160*2 which is 4320 ml.

So, 4320 ml of water had been lost by 6 am.
