of 2004 (t=0) was 2500 which is when the population is at its lowest. 6 years later the population was at 2800 which
was the highest population recorded.
a.
Find the equation that represents the population of moose P(t), over time (in years) (sin or cos). (2 marks)
b. Graph the moose population from 2004 to 2028 using your equation from part a. Clearly indicate your scale on
the graph and label the axis. (3 marks)
C.
In what year(s) is the moose population 2650 between 2004 and 2028? (3 marks)
d. What is the moose population at the start of 2021? (2 marks)
