it is a. 4.2 because 7.6-3.4 gets the remaining length of 4.2. i might be wrong but i am pretty sure this is the answer.

cross multiplying, we get :

⇒ (3) × (5) = (9) × (x)

⇒ 15 = 9x

the answer is 15.50 for one mile

b) is slope: 0   y- intercept 15.5

    csc2/sec2=cot2

  (1/sin2)/(1/cos2)=cot2

  (1/sin2)(cos2/1)=cot2

  cos2/sin2=cot2

  (1/tan2)=cot2

  (cot2)=(cot2)
