A. SOH CAH TOA These forumlas are on you formula chart. Make sure you
calculator is in Degree Mode not Radians.
b. After drawing your picture(right triangle) label the sides with HAO. Make an
"HA" sandwhich. The angle of reference needs to be sandwiched between the "H"
and the "A".
c. Determine which Trig function to use. You will use the side marked with and x
and any other side that you know the value.
d. Help to solve. When "X" is high you mulitple, When "X" is low you "switch you
know" (divide)
A bird sitting on top of a 75 meter tower spots a worm while looking down with a
angle of depression of 40 Degrees. If the bird was to fly to get the worm, how
far would the bird have to fly. In other words, what is the distance from the top
of the tower to the worm.
